Being an engineering company from Japan means that you must be efficient. And one of the surest efficiency is a clean and sound network. With a 50-man team in Singapore, Sanyo needs to make sure that everything is ship shape so that they can focus on their core business.

That’s why Sanyo has decided to renew their avast! antivirus. The fact that avast! is a robust product with high performance fits their profile of Japanese efficiency and so each and every one of their mid-sized branch is installed with avast! Antivirus Professional Edition.

To Sanyo, Arigato for believing in avast!

Lohmun Leather Products, a mid-sized leather apparel company based in Singapore depends a lot on their network to get things going. With 20 PCs and a Windows NT server, viruses and worms can’t be allowed onto the network. However, their previous antivirus solution failed them. They’ve used the Big N in the antivirus world, and found that it did not meet their expectations.

But after trying a trial version of avast! for 4 months, the leather apparel company was so pleased with the results, that they bought a 3 year maintenance plan. Because of its capability to detect and remove viruses which had been problematic before, and the sheer small footprint of the program, their network has been smooth ever since.
